Adlabs Films spurted by 4.22 per cent to end the day at Rs 155.6 on reports that the company is planning an investment of Rs 100 crore each in its film services and movie exhibition businesses. The investment would be made on creating a film studio in Mumbai by December 2009.
In the exhibition business, the company would add around 140 screens across India, Malaysia and the United States. The stock made an intraday high of Rs 157 and a low of Rs 148.5, with trading volumes of 2,24,550 shares.
