Almond prices declined by Rs 11.50 to Rs 370.50 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in booking profit at existing high levels, driven by sluggish spot market demand.

Almond for delivery in September moved down by Rs 11.50, or 3.01%, to Rs 370.50 per kg, with a trading volume of a single lot.

Traders said the fall in almond was mostly due to profit booking by traders and speculators at existing high levels, driven by subdued demand in the spot market.
