Almond futures fell by over 3% to Rs 400.75 per kg in futures trade today largely in line with sluggish demand against adequate stocks.

At the MCX, almond for delivery in June lost Rs 12.50, or 3.02%, to Rs 400.75 per kg, with an open interest of a single lot.

Market analysts said sluggish demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on almond futures prices.
