In a range-bound trade, almond prices fell by Rs 3.50, or 1.04 per cent, to Rs 333 per kg in futures trade today on adequate stocks positions, followed by increased arrivals from producing regions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange platform, almond for September-month fell by Rs 3.50, or 1.04 per cent, to Rs 333 per kg, with an open interest of two lots.

Marketmen said increased supply in the physical market, followed by bumper crops this season, against sluggish demand mainly led to a fall in almond prices at futures trade.
