Almond futures prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 341 per kg today, as speculators created fresh positions, driven by rising demand at spot markets.

Tight stocks following restricted arrivals from producing regions also supported the rise in futures prices.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, almond for November delivery rose by Rs 10, or 3.02 per cent to Rs 341 per kg, with a trade volume of just one lot.

Traders said a firm trend at spot markets on the back of pick up in demand, influenced almond futures prices here.
