Almond marginally up on retailers demand

In restricted activity, almond prices rose by Rs 50 per 40 kg on the wholesale fruits market today on retailers demand. 

Elsewhere, other dry fruits traded in a narrow range in the absence of worthwhile activity and closed around previous levels.

Traders said pick up in retailers demand influenced almond (girdhi) prices to trade at higher prices.

Almond (girdhi) prices gained Rs 50 to Rs 2750-2850 per 40 kg.
