In tight-range movements, aluminium traded 0.09% higher in futures trading today after it moved up at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March gained 10 paise, or 0.09%, to Rs 114.95 per kg, with a business turnover of 13 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in April moved up by the same margin to Rs 115.30 per kg, with an open interest of two lots.
Meanwhile, at the LME, aluminium was trading a shade higher at $2,570.75 per tonne.
Analysts said apart from a firming trend at the LME, increasing demand at domestic spot markets influenced the aluminium futures prices here.
