Ambuja Cements is the top gainer in the Sensex at 5.8% to Rs 91.50. ACC is up 1.7% to Rs 649, Reliance Communications and Reliance Infra have advanced 1.2% to Rs 537 and Rs 1,118 respectively. Ranbaxy, HDFC and Grasim are trading 1% higher.
ONGC is down 1.5% to Rs 868, HDFC Bank has declined 1.45% to Rs 1,188. TCS, ICICI Bank and SBI are all down 1.25%.
