Ambuja Cements slips on poor nos

Ambuja Cements finally ended at Rs 95, down 2% from the previous close. Heavy volumes of 1.57 million shares were traded on the BSE as compared to the two-week daily average volumes of 916,782 shares.

Ambuja Cements has slipped 2% after posting a 43.7% dip in net profit.

The stock today opened at Rs 100 and then slipped to a low of Rs 93. The scrip is now trading at Rs 95, down 2% from the previous close. Around 536,705 shares have been traded on the counter at the BSE,

The company yesterday reported a 43.7% slips in net profit to Rs 325 crore as compared to Rs 577 crore in the previous quarter, a year ago.

 

However, the net sales recorded a 18% growth to Rs 1,847 crore as compared to Rs 1,564 crore during the period.
