The Ansal group is rejigging its strategy by shifting from targeting at the higher income to the middle and upper-middle class category of the real estate market. The group is also shifting its focus from the real estate development of independent dwellings to condominiums.
For instance, 70 per cent of the dwelling units at various Ansal locations (which include Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad), are being developed as condominiums. Also as much as 30 per cent of the new constructions being undertaken by the group are for dwellings below 1000 square feet of covered area.
