Apollo Hospitals up on surge in Q3 net profit

Apollo Hospitals ended at Rs 684, higher by Rs 23 or 3.5%, on the BSE.

The stock had opened at Rs 662, and touched a high of Rs 699 and a low of Rs 657 during the day.

The counter saw trades of 0.20 lakh shares as against the two-week average of 0.12 lakh shares.

Apollo Hospitals has added following a jump in net profit.

The stock opened at Rs 662 and soared to a high of Rs 675. The scrip is now trading at Rs 670, up 1.5% from its previous close. The counter has clocked volumes of 3,532 shares on the BSE.

The company has registered a 49% surge in net profit to Rs 43.9 crore as compared to Rs 29.5 crore in the previous quarter, a year ago.

Consolidated revenues grew 29.9 per cent during the period to Rs 480.87 crore from Rs 373 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
