Arhar dal and masoor dal prices fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand against adequate supply in the market.
Traders said adequate supply in tandem with slackness in demand mainly led to fall in arhar and masoor prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 3,300-3,800 and Rs 4,850-5,250 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold also declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,000-3,200 and Rs 3,150-3,400, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 3,550-3,650 and Rs 3,850-4,150 per quintal, respectively.
