Arhar up on fresh demand, rajma declines

Arhar and its dal prices recovered by Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on fresh demand from retailers.  

However, rajma met with resistance and declined. 

Traders said fresh demand against less arrivals mainly pushed up arhar and its dal prices.  

In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety were rebounded by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,900-4,000 and Rs 5,050-5,450 per quintal.  

However, rajma chitra (Pune), China and red variety lost Rs 50 each to Rs 3,300-3,900, Rs 3,400-3,900 and Rs 3,400-3,500 per quintal.

Urad 4,300-4,850, Urad chilka (local) 5,100-5,500, best 5,550-5,850, Dhoya 5,700-5,800, Moong 4,250-4,650, Dal moong chilka local 5,150-5,550, Moong Dhoya local 5,400-5,600 and best quality 5,900-6,100
