Arhar and its dal prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today owing to slack demand against adequate supply.

Elsewhere, other commodities continued to move in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.

Traders said slackness in demand against adequate stocks mainly led to the decline in gram and its dal prices.

In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety lost Rs 50 each to Rs 4,100-4,200 and Rs 5,450-5,850 per quintal.
