Markets in Asia were trading higher buoyed by overnight rally on Wall Street, however markets in South Korea continued to trade in the red on back of reports that North Korea has warned for more attacks.
Wall Street ended higher on better than expected consumer confidence data for November and the weekly jobs claims data.
China's Shangahi composite gained 0.3%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up 0.4% on back of gains in property shares, Japan's Nikkei 225 gained 0.4%. Straight Times and Taiwan Weighted were up 0.5% each.
Markets in South Korea continued to remain under pressure; Seoul Composite was down 0.3% as investors were in search of direction amidst undercurrent of tensions between North and South Korea.
