Asian markets are down deep into red on the back of negative cues from the US markets.
The Hang Seng has slumped 676 points to 13,591. The Nikkei has plunged 479 points to 8,195.
The Taiwan Weighted index has cracked 149 points to 4,713. The Straits Times index has shed 57 points at 1,764, and the Seoul Composite index has crashed 98 points to 1,037.
The Shanghai Composite index has slipped 47 points to 1,849.
