Asian markets have collapsed this morning following negative cues from the US markets. Most of the markets were closed yesterday.
The Hang Seng has slumped 1,081 points to 18,272. The Nikkei has plunged 594 points to 11,621.
The Taiwan Weighted index has shed 251 points at 5,801. The Straits Times index has slipped 44 points to 2,442, and the Seoul Composite index has dropped 79 points to 1,399.
The Shanghai Composite index has declined 66 points to 2,014.
