Asian markets end higher

The Asian markets ended in the green, albeit off their day's highs.

Hang Seng ended at 22,157, higher by 36 points or 0.1% and Nikkei ended at 11,273, up 68 points or 0.6%.

Taiwan Weighted ended at 8,171, higher by 74 points or 0.9% and Seoul Composite ended at 1,743, up eight points or 0.4%.  

Meanwhile, the European markets have edged higher in opening trades. The FTSE is quoting at 5,804, higher by seven points or 0.1%, CAC is at 4,064, higher by six points or 0.1% and DAX is at 6,281, up three points.

The Asian markets have edged higher in opening trades. The Nikkei is quoting at 225 11,177, higher by 15 points or 0.1%.

 

Straits Times is placed at 2,998, stronger by 27 points or 0.9%, Seoul Composite is at 1,725, higher by 15 points or 0.8% and Taiwan Weighted is at 8,057, up 28 points or 0.3%.

Hang Seng is flat, with a negative bias, at 22,101.
