Asian markets end higher

The Asian markets have ended in the green. The Hang Seng ended at 21,623, stronger by 218 points or 1%,Straits Times ended at 2,980, stronger by 19 points or 0.6%, Seoul Composite closed at 1,718, higher by 12 points or 0.7% and Taiwan Weighted shut shop at  7,900, up 46 points or 0.5%.

However, Nikkei and Shanghai Composite ended flat, with a negative bias, at 10,900 and at 2,979.

Meanwhile, the European markets have opened in the positive. FTSE is quoting at 5,751, stronger by 23 points or 0.4%, DAX is at 6,187, higher by 24 points or 0.4% and CAC is placed at 3,979, up nine points or 0.2%.

The Asian markets have registered gains this morning. Hang Seng is quoting at 21,529, stronger by 124 points or 0.5% and Nikkei is at 10,955, higher by 46 points or 0.4%.

Straits Times is at 2,971, higher by 10 points or 0.3%, Seoul Composite is at 1,715, higher by 10 points or 0.5% and Taiwan Weighted is at 7,873, up 19 points or 0.2%.

Shanghai Composite is, however, trading marginally lower at 2,967.
