Asian markets end in green; Hang Seng gains 2%

Asian markets have ended in the green today. The Hang Seng added 382 points (2%) to 20,812. The Nikkei was up 17 points at 9,692.

The Taiwan Weighted advanced 98 points (1.3%) to 7,536. The Straits Times moved up 32 points (1.2%) to 2,616.

The Seoul Composite is flat at 1,598.

The Asian markets are in green barring the Nikkei and the Seoul Composite Index.

The Hang Seng has advanced 140 points to 20,569. The Shanghai Composite has increased 25 points to 2,779.

The Nikkei is down 10 points at 9,664.

The Straits Times and the Taiwan Weigted Index have added over 1% each to 2,616 and 7,536, respectively.

The Seoul Composite is marginally down at 1,598.

All the major Asian markets have opened on a positive note this morning.

 

Hang Seng is placed at 20,575, up 0.7% or 146 points and Nikkei is trading flat with a positive bias at 9,675.

Straits Times is trading at 2,620, higher by 1.4% or 36 points, Seoul Composite is at 1,614, up by 0.5% or 8 points and Taiwan Weighted is at 7,524, up 1.1% or 86 points.

Shanghai Composite is quoting at 2,779, up 0.9%  or 24 points.
