Asian markets ended in the positive zone.
The Hang Seng surged 354 points (2%) to 17,892. The Nikkei added 40 points to 9,590.
The Taiwan Weighted rallied 183 points (3%) to 6,380. The Straits Times gained 52 points (2.3%) to 2,278. The Shanghai Composite advanced 30 points (1%) to 2,922.
The Seoul Composite ended flat at 1,364.

Asian markets have recovered as investors wait for a the US Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates and state of recovery of the economy.
The Hang Seng has gained 233 points (1.3%) to 17,772. The Nikkei has recovered and is now up 57 points at 9,607.
The Taiwan Weighted has surged 183 points (3%) to 6,380. The Straits Times has advanced 39 points (1.7%) to 2,265.

The Shanghai Composite has added 19 points to 2,912. The Seoul Composite is flat at 1,369, up eight points.

Fresh worries of a global recovery weighed on Asian markets.
The Hang Seng has added 49 points to 17,588. The Nikkei, however, has slipped five points to 9,544.
The Taiwan Weighted has gained 28 points to 6,226. The Straits Times has moved up 13 points to 2,239.
The Seoul Composite has dropped seven points to 1,354. The Shanghai Composite is flat at 2,892.
