Asian markets end in green; Nikkei gains

Asian markets ended in green. The Hang Seng added 113 points to 21,999. The Nikkei gained 179 points (1.7%) to 10,239.

The Taiwan Weighted advanced 15 points to 7,710.

The Shanghai Composite, the Seoul Composite and the Straits Times ended flat.

Asian markets have continued to trade in green today.

The Hang Seng has added 195 points (1%) to 22,082. The Nikkei has gained 152 points (1.5%) at 10,212.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite are flat at 2,721 and 1,657, respectively. The Taiwan Weighted is unchanged at 7,699.

The Shanghai Composite has slipped marginally to 2,968 - down two points.

All Asian markets are trading in positive territory.

 

The Hang Seng is quoting at 22,237, stronger by 351 points or 1.6% and the Nikkei is placed at 10,272, higher by 212 points or 2.1%.
 
Straits Times is at 2,727, up 19 points or 0.7%, Seoul is at 1,661, up 12 points or 0.7% and Taiwan is at 7,773, up 77 points or 1%.  

The Shanghai is quoting at 2,994, higher by 24 points or 0.8%.
