The Asian markets ended in red today.
The Hang Seng dropped 229 points (1%) to 20,932. The Nikkei shed 242 points (2.5%) to 10,202.
The Straits Times declined 46 points (2%) to 2,635. The Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted slipped 1% each to 1,635 and 7,257, respectively.
However, the Shanghai Composite added 36 points (1.2%) to 3,027.

Asian markets are exhibiting weakness in morning trades.
The Nikkei has dropped 258 points to 10,187. The Hang Seng has shed 248 points at 20,193.
The Taiwan Weighted index has slipped 48 points to 7,290. The Straits Times has declined 32 points to 2,649, and the Seoul Composite index is down 14 points at 1,638.
The Shanghai Composite index, however, is flat at 2,992.
