Asian markets end positive; Hang Seng up 2%

The Asian markets pared some of their gains but managed to end positive.

The Hang Seng advanced 351 points or around 2% at 21,830. The Nikkei added 72 points to 9,789.

The Shanghai Composite ended flat at 3,164.

The Straits Times  and the Seoul Composite were up over 1% each at 2,659 and 1,572, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted Index increased 45 points to 7,463.

Asian markets have advanced ahead of the US job numbers.

The Hang Seng has advanced 362 points or 2% to 21,841. The Nikkei has moved up 64 points or 1% at 9,781.

 

The Shanghai Composite Index has added 18 points or 0.5% at 3,172.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite are up 1% each at 2,660 and 1,569, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted Index is up 59 points at 7,476.

The Asian markets have opened on a bright Note. The Hang Seng has advanced 404 points or 2% at 21,882.

The Nikkei has added 110 points or 1% to 9,828.

The Shanghai Composite Index is up 14 points at 3,170.

The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite have moved up 1% each at 2,664 and 1,570, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted Index is up 61 points at 7,478.
