Asian shares hit a new 14-month high on Friday on the back of investor optimism over the global economy.
The Asian markets ended on a positive note.
The Hang Seng was marginally up at 21,499. The Nikkei soared 184 points or 2% to 10,016.
The Shanghai Composite surged 133 points or 5% to 2,912.
The Straits Times was up at 2,654 and the Taiwan Weighted Index added 69 points or 1% to 7,571.
The Seoul Composite advanced 32 points or 2% to 1,647.

Hang Seng is quoting at 21,519, higher by 26 points or 0.1% and the Nikkei is at 9,891, up 59 or 0.6%.
Seoul Composite is placed at 1,638, up 23 points or 1.4%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,527, up 23.9 points or 0.3%, while Straits Times is quoting at 2,648.08, down 2.87 points or 0.1%.
The Shanghai Composite, which has opened after a week-long break, is quoting at 2,865, up 86 points or 3.1%.
