</p><p class='TableClas'>The Taiwan Weighted index has advanced 216 points to 7,282. The Straits Times index has gained 52 points at 2,943, and the the Seoul Composite index has added 29 points to 1,591.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The Shanghai Composite index is up eight points at 2,854.</P>
