Asian markets were mostly in the green in morning trades.
Japan's Nikkei touched its highest in 9-months after an impressive US jobs data. Jobless rate in the US fell, buoying markets worldwide. The Nikkei was up 72 points at 10,616.
Hang Seng, however, slipped 44 points to 23,865.
The Seoul Composite gained 33 points at 2,105. Straits Times was unchanged at 3,212.
Meanwhile, Taiwan Weighted and Shanghai Composite remained shut.
