Asian markets in green; Nikkei surges 290pts

Asian markets were in green this morning.

The Nikkei had rallied 290 points to 17,654. The Shanghai Composite index had moved up 22 points to 3540. 

The Straits Times index has gained 25 points at 3399. The Jakarta index has moved up 13 points to 1954, and the Seoul Composite index has added seven points to 1528.
