Asian markets are in negative territory this morning following negative cues from the US markets.
The Hang Seng has plunged 374 points to 17,837. The Nikkei has dropped 158 points to 10,997.
The Taiwan Weighted index has shed 31 points at 5,672. The Straits Times index has slipped 41 points to 2,323, and the Seoul Composite index has declined 20 points to 1,420.
The Shanghai Composite index is down four points at 2,294.
