Asian markets are down this morning despite as crude as climbed over $116 per barrel.
The Hang Seng has plunged 343 points to 20,588. The Nikkei has slipped 45 points to 12,807.
The Taiwan Weighted index has shed 82 points at 6,958. The Straits Times index has declined 24 points to 2,727, and the Seoul Composite index has dropped 25 points to 1,516.
The Shanghai Composite index is down 52 points to 2,471.
