Asian markets marginally up; Nikkei up 41pts

Asian markets were seen up marginally in early trades today.

The Nikkei has moved up 41 points to 17,670. The Shanghai Composite index had added 11 points to 3608. 

The Straits Times index has gained 12 points at 3426, and the Seoul Composite index has added three points to 1535.

The Taiwan Weighted index, however, has slipped 15 points to 8028.
