</p><p class='TableClas'>The Taiwan Weighted index has slipped 25 points to 6,950. The Straits Times index and the the Seoul Composite indices are almost unchanged at 2,865 and 1,524, respectively.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The Shanghai Composite index has moved up 23 points to 2,708.</P>
