Asian markets mixed

The Nikkei has shed 59 points at 15,654. The Hang Seng is up 25 points at 15476.

Earlier on Friday, the Dow finished marginally lower (five points) at 11,115, and the Nasdaq slipped 12 points to 2282.

The curde for March delivery surged $1.42 to end at $59.88 a barrel on the NYMEX.

Among Indian ADRs - VSNL plunged 3% to $17.43. ICICI Bank declined 2% to $30.50, and Satyam slipped 1.7% to $40.50. Dr.Reddy's rallied 2.3% to $28.43, and MTNL moved up 1.3% to $7.25.
