Asian markets mixed in early trade

Asian markets are exhibiting mixed trend in early morning trades.

While Japan's Nikkei has slipped 92 points to 18,096, Hong Kong's Hang Seng has moved up 42 points to 22,042.

China's Shanghai Composite index has gained 18 points at 4110.

The Taiwan Weighted index has rallied 157 points to 8970. The Seoul Composite index has added 10 points to 1781.

The Straits Times index, however, is down 10 points at 3605.
