Asian markets mostly up in early trades

Asian markets were mostly up in early trades today.

The Hang Seng has rallied 246 points to 24,198. The Nikkei has moved up 57 points to 15,934.

The Taiwan Weighted index has gained 21 points at 9024, and the Straits Times has added 15 points to 3510.

The Shanghai Composite index has slipped 45 points to 5069, and the Seoul Composite index has declined 20 points to 1827.
