The Asian markets opened on a positive note.
The Hang Seng has advanced 253 points(1%) to 20,235.
The Nikkei has added 174 points (2%) to 10,118. The stock's share average hit a six-week high on Monday on the hopes that there will be better than previously expected results in Japan's corporate earnings season.
The Shanghai Composite has gained 31 points to 3,403.
The Straits Times has increased 35 points (1%) to 2,568. The Seoul Composite has moved up 19 points (1%) to 1,522 and the Taiwan Weighted Index has added 18 points at 6,991.
