The Asian markets have opened in the positive taking cues from their US counterparts.
The Nikkei is quoting at 11,068, stronger by 168 points or 1.5%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,992, higher by 91 points or 1.1%, Seoul Composite is at 1,738, higher by 20 points or 1.1% and Straits Times is at 2,988, up seven points or 0.2%.
Hang Seng is placed marginally lower at 21,601.
