The Asian markets have opened on a flat note. The Hang Seng is down six points at 19,479. The Nikkei has slipped 94 points at 9,444.
The Shanghai Composite is marginally up at 2,522. The Straits Times, Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted Index are marginally down.
