The Asian markets have opened in the positive.
The Hang Seng is quoting at 21,776, stronger by 239 points or 1.1% and Nikkei is at 11,321, higher by 38 points or 0.3%.
Straits Times and Seoul Composite are flat, with a positive bias, at 2,977 and 1,726 respectively.
