Asian markets open in green

Taking cues from the developments in the US markets overnight, the Asian indices have opened in green.

Hang Seng is quoting at 18,986,and the Nikkei has opened at 9,515, higher by 55 points or 0.58%.

Seoul Composite is quoting at 1,559, weaker by 2 points or 0.11%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,120, higher by 33 points or 0.47% and Straits
Times is at 2,678, up 27 points or 1%.

Shanghai Composite is at 2,641, up 18 points or 0.7%.
