Asian markets open in green; Nikkei up 1.5%

The Asian markets have opened in the green this morning. The Hang Seng has added 11 points at 20,062 and the Nikkei is up 153 points or 1.5% at 10,040, respectively.

The Straits Times and the Taiwan Weighted Index have gained 1% each at 2,842 and 7,454, respectively. The Seoul Composite Index has added 0.5% at 1,698.
