The Asian markets have opened weak across the board.
The Hang Seng is quoting at 21,293, weaker by 217 points or 1% and the Nikkei is at 10,881, lower by 208 points or 1.8%.
Taiwan Weighted is at 7,906, weaker by 83 points or 1%, Seoul Composite is at 1,731, lower by 16 points or 0.9% and Straits Times is placed at 2,958, down nine points or 0.3%.
And the Shanghai Composite has shed 42 points or 1.4% at 2,990.
