The Asian markets have opened on a mixed note. The Hang Seng is quoting at 19,716, higher by 137 points or 0.7%, while the Nikkei is at 10,113, down 73 points or 0.7%.
Straits Times is at 2,781, higher by seven points or 0.2% and Seoul Composite is at 1,631, up one point. On the other hand, the Taiwan Weighted is at 7,539, down 19 points or 0.2%.
