The Asian markets have opened on a mixed note. Hang Seng is quoting at 19,839, lower by two points and Nikkei is at 9,181, down 85 points or 0.9%.
Straits Times is at 2,838, lower by five ponts or 0.2% and Seoul Composite is at 1,663, down 11 points or 0.7%.
On the other hand, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,465, higher by 25 points or 0.3% and Shanghai Composite is at 2,388, up 24 points or 1%.
