The Asian markets opened mixed with Hang Seng,Jakarta Composite and Straits Times starting in the green. Meanwhile, Japanese markets are closed for holiday.
Hong Kong shares gained as resource firms advanced pushing the Hang Seng up 0.5%. Straits Times added 0.1% while Jakarta Composite is flat with a positive bias at 4,025.
On the other hand, KLSE Composite, NZSE, Seoul Composite have started down 0.5-0.7%. Taiwan Weighted lost neazrly 0.2% while Shanghai Composite is flat at 2,819.
