The Asian markets have opened lower, taking cues from a weak close on Wall Street.
Hang Seng is quoting at 20,760, weaker by 58 points or 0.2% and Nikkei is at 9,942, lower by 170 points or 1.6%.
Taiwan Weighted is at 7,573, lower by 39 points or 0.5%, Seoul Composite is placed at 1,726, lower by five points or 0.3% and Straits Times is at 2,862, down 10 points or 0.3%.
Shanghai Composite has shed two points at 2,585.
