Asian markets rally; Nikkei gains 192pts

Asian markets are up smartly this morning following a two-day rally in the US markets.

The Hang Seng has surged 794 points to 24,508. The Nikkei has gained 192 points at 14,016.

The Taiwan Weighted index has rallied 106 points to 8,414. The Straits Times index has advanced 47 points to 3,125, and the Seoul Composite index has added 17 points to 1,726.

The Shanghai Composite index has moved up 75 points to 4,313.
