Asian markets rally; Nikkei gains 329pts

Asian markets have rallied smartly tracking significant gains on the Wall Street.

The Hang Seng has rallied 605 points to 21,990. The Nikkei has surged 329 points to 12,293.

The Taiwan Weighted index has soared 164 points to 8,221. The Straits Times index has advanced 58 points to 2,891, and the Seoul Composite index has added 39 points to 1,628.

The Shanghai Composite index has gained 55 points at 3,724.
