Asian markets rally on Wall St cue

All the Asian markets were trading with gains today on positive cues from the US markets.

The Nikkei had gained over 179 points to above the 16,000-mark in late morning deals.

The Hang Seng, Strait Times, Kospi and Shanghai indices were also in positive zones.
