Asian markets surge; Nikkei up 393pts

Asian markets are surged on the back of positive cues from the US markets.

The Hang Seng has soared 599 points to 22,946. The Nikkei has surged 393 points to 16,294. The Shanghai Composite index has moved up 19 points to 4999.

The Taiwan Weighted has zoomed 214 points to 8707. The Straits Times index has advanced 72 points to 3393, and the Seoul Composite index has added 44 points to 1803.
